EUROPEISM

A project to rethink and relaunch the "idea of Europe"

About the project

Europe is more than a geography. It is a methodology.

While the world often focuses on "Europeanism"—the personal identity of being European—we have overlooked Europeism: the underlying philosophy that makes the European project possible.

For decades, the term Europeism has lived in the quiet corners of academia, often sidelined by its more common linguistic cousins. Today, as the world faces a "tipping point" of systemic shifts, we believe it is time to bring this word back to the center of the conversation. Europeism is the "operating system" of our society. It is the framework that allows us to turn a history of conflict into a laboratory for the most advanced form of human cooperation ever attempted.

The Europeism Project seeks to move beyond the "who" (identity) and focus on the "how" (the idea). It explores Europe as a project of synthesis—a community of peoples bound not by a single language or religion, but by a shared way of seeing the world. From our unique approach to social humanism and secular pluralism to our commitment to "soft power" and the "slow" quality of life, Europeism is the blueprint for a balanced future. This project aims to codify these values into a clear, actionable vision for the 21st century.

The project is an initiative designed to help us understand this "European Way" not as a relic of the past, but as a roadmap for the future. It brings structure to the values that define our daily lives—showing how the European project remains one of the world's most sophisticated social innovations.

This project is led by Europeism.com in collaboration with a network of cultural thinkers and social architects.

About the book

Publication date: 2027

The unification of Europe is a process thousands of years old; the EU is simply the latest experiment. This book provides the systemic framework for Europe 2.0. Using the lens of Europeism, it identifies the core philosophical assets that shaped the continent and adapts them for a new era of complexity.

By analyzing the "Operating System" of European society—from social humanism to our unique model of cooperation—this work outlines how to optimize what works and redesign what no longer serves us. It moves past political debate to analyze civilizational structures and strategic foresight. This is a blueprint to fix the flaws of the current experiment and propose the alternatives needed to steer history in the right direction. Consider it the manual for the next release of the European project.
