Research project to understand investor perspectives on Nordic Health Tech and to identify the main barriers and opportunities in the sector.

About the project

This project aims to analyse the Nordic Health Tech sector through the lens of investors, to understand how to close the funding gap and strengthen the ecosystem. Despite the sector’s growth and strategic importance, many founders feel there is not enough capital or specialised investors. To address this, the project combines survey data from 120 investors, 25 in-depth interviews, and market research. It focuses on three core areas: investment levels and barriers, funding distribution across sectors and countries, and the overall perception of the ecosystem. The goal is to provide actionable insights for policymakers, investors, and ecosystem players, and to encourage more capital, new investors, and stronger support frameworks for Nordic Health Tech.
